📌 Disassembly Instructions :

Tools needed:

• Phillips #0 (PH0) or #1 (PH1) screwdriver

• Plastic spudger/prying tool

Steps to open the bottom case:

1. Power off the laptop completely.

2. Place the laptop upside down with the bottom cover facing up.

3. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove all screws securing the bottom case.

4. Insert a plastic spudger into the gap between the bottom case and the laptop frame.

5. Gently slide the spudger around the edges to release the plastic clips.

6. Lift off the bottom cover carefully.

⚠️ Important Notes:

• Use a Phillips #0 (PH0) screwdriver to avoid stripping the screw heads.

• Keep track of screw positions as different lengths may be used for different mounting points.

• Universal ZenBook screw kits (28-piece, 7 types) are available for replacement .

• Do not overtighten screws during reassembly to prevent thread damage.

• For LCD hinge assembly replacement, special care is needed as it's a more complex repair .
